ARTIST STATEMENT
 

My goal as an artist is to try to go beyond the technical and explore emotional expression in art. A mechanical process creates unity in my work. However chance and color combine for individual effects. I really enjoy painting this results in fresh, happy paintings by default.
My wish is to create something that makes the world a little bit more beautiful. Trying to do this adds more depth and meaning to my work.
The act of producing art helps take the stress out of life. Making art is emotionally rewarding. I think being an artist is a life long goal that can be achieved with constant reevaluation, experimentation and reflection as life evolves.
