Scientific & Cultural Facilities District
Our citizens benefit from SCFD-funded
activities. More than 9 million people, twice the population of
Colorado, attended metro area scientific and cultural activities in
2001. The SCFD helps make Colorado a great place to live, work and
play. The district is a jewel that not only supports a better
quality of life for our citizens, it is an economic asset that
creates jobs, attracts new business and diversifies our economy. It
is a remarkable form of self-investment that pays incredible
dividends for Colorado. Including supporting Core with yearly
grants, thank you Colorado and SCFD! |

Women's
Caucus for Arts
The Colorado Chapter of the Women's
Caucus for Art is based in Denver and provides a support network to
artists in Colorado. We are an active chapter, holding regular
meetings and events and offering encouragement, inspiration,
networking and exhibition opportunities to members. Membership in
WCA includes the opportunity to show individual artwork and
collaborative group installations at galleries, universities, art
centers and museums within and outside Colorado. We do not
discriminate in any way shape or form, we have male members and
welcome all Colorado artists to join. |
