Call For Entries
2017 Open Shows
Watch for information on future call for entries to be announced.
REQUIREMENTS: Art must be completely dry. Wall and suspended art must have suitable means for hanging. NO SAWTOOTH HANGERS. Standing art must be stable. Fragile art must be protected. All art must remain in place for the duration of the show.
SALES: CORE charges a 30% commission plus tax on art sold. CORE will collect the payment for the artist: however the artist is responsible for terms of any sale. Your payment less the 30% commission will be rebated to your address within 45 days of the close of the show. Art need not be for sale.
LIABILITY: CORE will take all due precautions to protect premises and art. However, CORE is not responsible for loss due to damage, theft, vandalism, or accident. If work is fragile, it is submitted at the artist's own risk. Artist is responsible for his/her own insurance.
DROP-OFF: Artists are responsible for delivering their art to CORE, during regular gallery hours between October 13 - November 6th, 2016. Deadline is 4 p.m., Sunday, November 6th. Unsold artwork will need to be picked up by the artist within two weeks of show end. All unclaimed artwork after 30 days will be considered abandoned. Abandoned artwork will be considered property of the gallery and may be sold to cover storage fees. Please ensure that we have good contact information to avoid this.
CORE reserves the right to refuse entry to artwork that does not meet the submission guidlines. The juror(s) have the final decision on acceptance/rejection of artwork. CORE retains 30% commission on artwork sold. Commissions and entry fees support CORE's community outreach and help to provide local artists and patrons a viable visual alternative.
